Hello all,

I am back after a loong loong break! First thing I wanted to do is post here Very Happy

Here I go..

This is something I found out recently. Very amazing.. This transliteration script allows you to type in kannada at ease.

All you need to do it add this link to your bookmarks..

Add this to the bookmark tab for easy use. I have done this -

Note: If you don't see the bookmarks toolbar, you might just need to enable it. Just right click on the top navigation bar on Firefox and enable "Bookmarks Toolbar" there. :)

To start typing in Kannada, Click on the bookmark icon you just added and just go place the cursor control on any text box(Orkut scrap, Google search or Gtalk chat from gmail (only) or any other text box/area). An "ಅ" will appear and its the usual kannada type..

If you have done everything right, you will se something like this -

This is by far the most intelligent transliteration I have used. It is simply rocking..

ಒಹ್ ಹೌದಾ ?? ನನಗೆ ಆಗ್ತಿದೆ. ಈಗ ಅದರಲ್ಲೇ ಮಾಡ್ದೆ. ಮತ್ತೆ try ಮಾಡು.

Tell me what all did you do? It will work in Firefox, Chrome and IE. I have tried in all. May be you are going wrong somewhere.

I am unable to add this.

On IE7, I added a favorite, copied and pasted the java code in the URL field. Nothing happens (I cannot compose anything in Kannada). What am I missing?
