Skandagiri is a hill, located approximately 70km from
Bangalore city in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is off Bellary Road
(NH-7 Hyderabad-Bangalore .'I can't believe there is such an amazing place so close to Bangalore,'
said a friend when I showed the photographs. It was getting predictable
- show pictures of Skandagiri to anyone, tell them it is just 60km from
Bangalore and wait for them to gasp and react with those words - 'I
can't believe...'

Best time to visit: November to January - Pramod captured these clouds during his visit in mid-Jan. Pre-monsoon will be foggy.

Trek time: 2 to 3 hours to reach the peak during daytime. A very nice place for moon-light trek.

Distance from Bangalore: 75 KMs

Route:
Bangalore - Hebbal Flyover - Devanahalli - Chikkaballapur - Skandagiri.
Take a left turn inside the city, follow the narrow road to reach
Papagni Matt which is at the foot of Skandagiri.

Ya naanu allige hogidde...Soooooooper place, Everyone should see that place, just amazing place for one day trip, can't explin in words about skandagiri, really beautiful....
